Four RBI Day for Coleman Gamble Brings in Win for Hooks over Devil Rays | 11.7.21

Coleman Gamble was an RBI machine on Sunday, driving in four on two hits to lead Hooks past Devil Rays 9-2 on Sunday. Gamble drove in runs on a double in the first and a triple in the fourth.

Hooks opened up scoring in the first inning, when Gamble doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.

Hooks notched four runs in the fourth inning. Nick Zamora, Gamble, and Daniel Zamora all drove in runs in the frame.

Derek Kennell pitched Hooks to victory. The lefthander allowed two hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out 17.

C Thompson took the loss for Devil Rays. The hurler allowed nine hits and eight runs over three innings, striking out two.

Hooks saw the ball well today, racking up 11 hits in the game. Dominick Coro, Steven Mock, and Gamble each managed multiple hits for Hooks. Coro went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Hooks in hits.
