Hooks' two pitchers didn't allow a single hit, as Hooks defeated Blue Devils 14-1 on Sunday. Coleman Gamble struck out Josh B to get the last out of the game.

Hooks secured the victory thanks to nine runs in the first inning. Hooks's big bats in the inning were led by singles by Gamble and Jordan Stickler, sacrifice flies by Rodney McDaniel and Derek Kennell, a walk by John Otterson, and a triple by Dominick Coro.

Hooks fired up the offense in the first inning. Hooks scored three runs when Coro tripled.

Kennell was the winning pitcher for Hooks. The southpaw surrendered zero runs on zero hits over four innings, striking out six. Gamble threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Gamble recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Hooks.

Hooks collected ten hits on the day. Nick Zamora and Ethan Lopez each had multiple hits for Hooks. Zamora went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Hooks in hits.
