Hooks defeated Stars 10-0 on Sunday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Daniel Zamora struck out Billy McDaniel to finish off the game.

Hooks got things moving in the first inning. Hooks scored two runs when Josh Hopkins singled.

Hooks tallied three runs in the sixth inning. Hooks's offense in the inning came from a single by Hopkins and a groundout by Steven Mock.

One bright spot for Stars was a single by R Cox in the first inning.

Joseph Hernandez earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for Hooks. Hernandez lasted three innings, allowing four hits and zero runs while striking out two and walking zero. Zamora threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Zamora recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for Hooks.

#69 took the loss for Stars. The bulldog surrendered seven runs on ten hits over five innings, striking out five.

Hooks hit one home run on the day. Zamora went deep in the fourth inning.

Hooks tallied 13 hits on the day. Jordan Stickler, Rodney McDaniel, Hernandez, Hopkins, John Otterson, and Zamora each had multiple hits for Hooks. Zamora, Otterson, Hopkins, Hernandez, McDaniel, and Stickler each managed two hits to lead Hooks.

Cox led Stars with two hits in three at bats.
