Gamble's Walk-off Picture Perfect Ending In Hooks' Victory Over Bulldogs | 11.14.21

A walk-off single propelled Hooks to a decisive, dramatic victory over Bulldogs, 5-4.  The game was tied at four with Hooks batting in the bottom of the eighth when Coleman Gamble singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Hooks fired up the offense in the first inning.  Gamble singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, Hooks tied things up at four.  Hooks scored one run when John Otterson singled.

Derek Kennell pitched Hooks to victory. The pitcher lasted eight innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out eight.

Don Mossoud took the loss for the Bulldogs. The pitcher went two-thirds of an inning, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out one and walking zero.

Josh Hinz started the game for the Bulldogs. The hurler allowed eight hits and five runs over seven innings, striking out nine.

Hooks tallied nine hits in the game.  Nick Zamora and Gamble all had multiple hits for Hooks.  Gamble and Zamora each collected two hits to lead Hooks.
