Hooks defeated D-Backs 12-0 on Sunday thanks to eight runs in the third inning. The offensive firepower by Hooks was led by Daniel Zamora, Matt Bailey, Andrew Lightfoot, Rodney McDaniel, Tanner Allred, and Ethan Lopez, all driving in runs in the frame.

Hooks got things started in the first inning when an error scored one run for Hooks.

Hooks scored eight runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Zamora, McDaniel, and Allred, a groundout by Lopez, by Coleman Gamble, an error on a ball put in play by Bailey, and a double by Lightfoot.

A double by Mitchell in the first inning was a positive for D-Backs.

Allred led the Hooks to victory on the pitcher's mound. Allred lasted five innings, allowing five hits and zero runs while striking out eight and walking one.

Garett took the loss for D-Backs. The bulldog allowed six hits and ten runs over two and a third innings, striking out one.

McDaniel went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Hooks in hits. Hooks didn't commit a single error in the field. Gamble had the most chances in the field with six.

Miguel led D-Backs with two hits in two at bats.
