Hooks stole the lead late in the game in a 14-12 victory over Red Sox on Sunday. The game was tied at 12 with Hooks batting in the bottom of the eighth when Dustin Thompson singled on a 3-0 count, scoring one run.

Hooks collected 14 hits and Red Sox had 12 in the high-scoring affair.

Hooks got on the board in the first inning when John Otterson tripled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

After Red Sox scored two runs in the top of the fifth, Hooks answered with two of their own. Red Sox scored when Ryan Basileo singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs. Hooks then answered when Thompson singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Thompson led the Hooks to victory on the pitcher's mound. The pitcher surrendered five runs on four hits over one inning, walking one. Matt Bailey threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Jonny took the loss for Red Sox. The bulldog surrendered six runs on six hits over one inning.

A Sanchez started the game for Red Sox. Sanchez surrendered six runs on seven hits over five innings, striking out four Craig Molldrem started the game for Hooks. The bulldog allowed six hits and four runs over six innings, striking out seven

Hooks racked up 14 hits. Daniel Zamora, Nick Zamora, Coleman Gamble, Thompson, and Otterson each managed multiple hits for Hooks. Zamora led Hooks with three hits in three at bats.

Red Sox tallied 12 hits. Basileo, Jackson, and Gage Hart all collected multiple hits for Red Sox. Basileo went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Red Sox in hits.
