Hooks weathered a push by Warriors in the second inning where Hooks coughed up three runs, but Hooks still won 19-3 on Sunday. Christian Valenzuela, Gustavo Martinez, and Abdullah powered the big inning with RBIs.

Hooks fired up the offense in the first inning. Steven Mock drew a walk, scoring one run.

Craig Molldrem was the winning pitcher for Hooks. The hurler surrendered three runs on two hits over six innings, striking out 13. Nate Imig threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Boyett took the loss for Warriors. The pitcher surrendered 12 runs on ten hits over three innings, striking out two.

Hooks tallied 18 hits in the game. Dustin Thompson, John Otterson, Nick Zamora, Tanner Allred, Coleman Gamble, Matt Bailey, and Rodney McDaniel all had multiple hits for Hooks. Otterson and Thompson each collected three hits to lead Hooks.
